Music by TFP “Buried Alive”
By Shawn Joseph
Hello once again my friends. Welcome back to my hole. It seems like just yesterday that we had our first
meeting. Since then I have been basted, baked and buried by the ever changing reality outside. While I
was digging my way out, I ran across something so tasty that I couldn’t chance leaving it behind.
My old friend JEREMY MOORE from Cincinnati, Ohio, is anything but vague in his expression of his own
political views through his music. In this piece, he has taken on the viewpoint of a person being affected
by the gentrification happening in their community. Honestly, not something I was even aware of
happening. I am sure you will enjoy this one, as I did. If you ever have the chance to catch one of their
shows, do it! They put so much energy is put into every performance! Check out more of Jeremy, and his
band GOGO BUFFALO here: www.facebook.com/gogobuffaloband

Answer this code with your hateful clause
"Thousands of words delivered and dropped"
Commoners of wealth’s constraint
Conquerors of history's hate
Sing with me in measures of three
Of everything you want me to be
Carry on, your somber song
Discover your fate
Bury the bones
Push us all out with your liar’s tongue
Hundreds will die, thousands will roam
Carry me to the willow tree
And take all you want from me
Sing with me in measures of three
Of everything you want us to be
But when I carry on, your hate you flaunt
Remember your haste
