subsequent “reunion” of the Harris’s at Lt. Harris’s grave site in France. It is one of those stories that grips
the heart—and the raw emotion of Mrs. Harris is captured and delivered beautifully in Alice Sweet Alice’s
“MIA”.
“MIA” is set for world distribution on January 1, 2015. You can read more about this fascinating story and

Alice Sweet Alice began as a solo project in 2007 by SCOTT MARTINEZ (vocals, bass, guitar), and ALI KAT
(vocals, keyboards) came on board that year to help compose ASA's first album, which came out in 2008. I
think it’s interesting to note that all of the songwriting was done online and without ever having met one
another. In fact, it wasn’t until 2009 during the finalizing of ASA's sophomore release "Moloko &
Ultraviolence", that Ali and Scott finally met and shortly thereafter, other members were recruited. The first
full band album was finished in 2010, "Mandala”, and the band began to focus on increasing their physical
reach out of Kansas City. Through 2011 and 2013, ASA went on a few tours and still managed to write and
record their 4th studio album "Ribbons & Stone", which came out in the summer of 2013.
Alice Sweet Alice’s music is difficult to define…which is a GOOD thing! When trying to button-hole them into
a genre, ASA will not be corralled; instead unabashedly blurring lines that bleed over into many tastes—
whether those lie in Rock, Electronica, Jazz, Blues, Post Punk—and yet to be named genres. The appeal of
ASA is apparently resounding, as demonstrated in their large and rapidly expanding fan base.
