The Language and Composition students teamed up with classes from
Central Middle School to complete Research Projects. Students ranging
from 6th-8th Grade wrote Research Questions for our sophomore and
junior students in Language and Composition. The HUHS students then
spent a month learning about breaking down a simplified question and
learning how to write for a particular audience. Our students then went
on a field trip to Central Middle School to share their experiences and
research with their partners.

Juniors met their financial literacy graduation requirement
while simulating one month of their adult lives, financially.
Local business people, parents, and community members joined us
to make the event possible in teaching students about some of the
realities in life!
