An object that is in motion has momentum and in order to change the momentum of an object it must experience an impulse - which is a force exerted over a period of time. From this activity, we can apply and analyze impulses that affect our everyday experiences such as the purpose and function of air bags in automobiles to sporting events. A very fun way of applying physics!!
