She is a writer, avid traveler and entrepreneur. She is the Author of ‘Superwomen’, a book on the journey of 20 Indian women entrepreneur. Prachi Garg, is the alumna of Miranda House College and she at present operate her own travel start up ghoomophiro.com. She shares with us her breakthrough of making this book published after some hiccups and gender biased challenges.
While it is important to win, it’s even more important to remain undefeated no matter what happens. Aparupa Ghosh is the founder of ‘Syu’ - textile, clothing and accessories studio. She talks about her entrepreneurial journey; and is convinced that with time, effort and dedication, she can carve a niche for herself. “Whether it is a failure or success, it is my own; based on my decisions and actions. And that gives me a sense of great empowerment”, says Aparupa.
“Some people have a misconception that women can’t handle power. I have heard this so many times, oh, a female boss, she must be a bitch,” says Mini Gautam, a practising lawyer and Founder of a full-service Law Firm MGA Legal based in Kolkata. She gives an overview of her daily challenges in running her own legal practise. Recently, she has authored “The Gutter Princess - Diary of an (Un) Willing Prostitute”.
