According to preliminary observations,
the occupancy of the hotel rooms has a
strong fluctuation between 40-90%
(depending on seasonality), but the
average annual occupancy is around 65-
70%. More than 3,600 people are
employed in this sector.
Another market advantage for the
project is that the complex is near the
border of Georgia, so in that way making it
much easier for tourist from Georgia to get
to the complex and spending their
weekends and holidays in harmony with
the nature.
Furthermore, the complex is about 100
km far from Tbilisi, thus making it easier for
Georgian and other people visiting Georgia
to come and spend their holidays and
leisure time.
Strategy and Implementation
According to official statistics, the
services provided by the hotel facilities
throughout Armenia are mostly used by
guests from abroad.
At the same time, hotels, located in the
regions and having suitable premises,
regularly organize various meetings and
conferences in different spheres, which
also contributes to the inclusion of
additional visitors to the resort.
Within the scope of this program, a
range of marketing activities will be set up
for the sustainable operation of the plant,
for which a special strategy can be
developed to plan activities and events.
The funds will also be allocated for the
organization of works, particularly, various
advertising events, participation in
targeted exhibitions, promo events,
cooperation with tourism agencies,
organizing various water activities,
competitions and so on. Also the marketing
strategy will include having a professional
website, well written blog, and an active
Facebook and Instagram pages. Campaign
should have a social media strategy to stay
current.
