At the end of our Drake Passage crossing Jeremy Young, January 14, 2013
Today( 14 Jan) was definitely our best day so far for weather, scenery and wildlife. The first excitement of the day was seeing lots more chinstraps which swam exuberantly through the shoal of Cape Petrels which have been loyally following us ever since the Falklands. Then, as we pressed south toward Elephant Island at the end of our Drake Passage crossing, we started seeing bits of drift ice, a few icebergs, and a couple of distant whales.
