I believe that we should use bottled water primarily instead of tap water. Bottled water is easily accessible whereas tap water comes from a faucet and isn’ t all around you. Bottled water can have a better taste and be less likely to contain pollutants and bacteria. Bottled water has a better safety record than tap water. There is a great concern for public water contamination.
In our society, you can purchase bottled water almost anywhere. Whether in a gas station, clothing store or airport, anywhere you turn, you will see bottled water available for purchase. That doesn’ t mean it will be a fair price, but you will be able to find it. Even the poorest places have bottled water for sale. Bottled water is neither racist, sexist nor homophobic. All classes and kinds of people can use it.
Bottled water has a better overall taste then tap water. It tastes better because we expect it to taste better. In blind taste tests, people cannot tell the difference between bottled and tap water, but because of marketing, people are naturally drawn to bottled water. Scientists say it’ s all about expectation. Tap water comes from different bodies of water. Well, lake and river water, contain different contaminants and will need to be checked before the water can be consumed. Public water goes through a filtering plant, and additives such as chlorine are added to help aid in the
