want the good or bad news first . I ' ll just give you the good news first !) things . Doing this is good because there can be animals in both the wild and the zoo , not just in a zoo . As you can see there are multiple reasons why zoos are good but there are also many reasons they are bad .
Good things about zoos .
There are many reasons why zoos are good , but here is just a few . 1 ) Some people say that zoos are good because animals are safer in zoos . The reason why people say that is because animals have a greater chance of being killed or dying of starvation . I agree with that because the animals are separated from each other so they can ' t kill one another and they feed the animals every day . 2 ) People are also saying zoos help endangered animals . If this is true that would be really great because they can make the animal population larger . 3 ) Zoos help scientist with their research . Information they collect helps them make new medicine and curse for animals . In 2002 zoos helped in 2,230 researches . 4 ) Seeing an animal in person it is better than seeing one on the tv . I know when I see an animal in real life I get really happy even if I just saw it on tv 5 minutes ago . 5 ) My last reason why zoos can be good is because instead of capturing animals from the wild people take them from other zoos and they also take them from captive breeding programs . Captive breeding programs is where people take care of animals if they ' re in danger of extinction or other

There is many reasons why zoos are bad too ! Here is a few . 1 ) Some people say zoos are bad because they do not benefit people . Visitors usually look at an animal for a couple of minutes while having a conversation that is not related to the animals . I agree by experience , because when i ' m at a zoo I don ’ t spend a long time looking at the animal . 2 ) Another reason why people think zoos are bad is because the way they used to trap the animals . They would take a baby so they can live longer in the zoo , but before they take the animal they would kill
