Luckily, the generation we live in now has the advanced technology to help solve problems that are not just taking place in China, but all of earth. The population control in China has really helped though; their growth rates have stabilized at 1.5 %, two times better than what they were.

Birth rates are outrageous in modern day, but it is actually less than it has been in the past. The reason is couples throughout years have wanted fewer children, which is telling us the future’ s population is slowing down. Today, on average, a woman gives birth to 2.5 children, half of the 1950 figure. Earth’ s average birth rates may be piping down, but it’ s still too much children per mother for the earth to sustain.

My results show 42 people said yes and 10 people say no. Well then why won’ t birth control pills be more accessible around the world? The problem is the lack of accessibility is mostly caused by poverty, a problem that is seemingly impossible to fix. Poor continents like Africa have the highest birth rates on earth.
