Tap V. S Bottled

This battle has been going on and may never stop. Tap water is scientifically proven to be just as good as bottled.
Due to the fact that there are new chemicals, tap water is rumored to be unhealthy to drink. A simpler alternative was made. Bottled water. It is said to be cheaper and safer than tap water is. But neither of this is true. It has been scientifically proven that tap water is just as healthy as bottled. Bottled water is also 500 times more higher priced than tap water is. If anything, bottled water is worse. It pollutes the world with plastic and cannot be decomposed quickly. Tap water is safe and cheap. They have a MCLG to make sure that water is safe to drink. All water treatment plants have their own regulations as well. They must protect their water source, build, maintain, and repair damaged treatment plants and distribution systems, and recruit, pay, and train system operation staff.
Caring about water dates back to 1948, when the Clean Water Act was legislated, to 1849, where English physician John Snow pointed out the connection for dirty water and diseases, to even 400 B. C, where Greek physician Hippocrates figured out that clean water was necessary for good health. You may think 1 glass is nothing. But, to the 800 million people out there without it, it surely is not. People say that tap water is unhealthy now, but the future is more to worry about. Companies do the best they can to keep water clean. Some have won awards for their efforts in doing their job. The issue at hand are the new chemicals, like endocrine disruptors and PFOA.
