New Distribution
Facility in
Arlington
FedEx officials and staff joined
Arlington leaders and community
members on October 9th, to cut the
ribbon on a new 320,000 square-foot
distribution center.
The center is located off east Bardin
road, near Interstate 20 and New
York Avenue. There are currently
350 employees on-site, and FedEx
says more will be added as business
grows. The distribution center is the
final stop before your packages are
loaded onto a truck and delivered to
your home or office. It is also where
outgoing packages are taken before
being sent to larger hubs.
Arlington. Creative solutions for expanding businesses.
When General Motors needed a lake to help build their assembly plant, we
moved the earth for them—literally. Because here, success is just a matter
of ingenuity. And we have plenty to go around.

The Office of Economic Development’s new ‘We Can. We Do.’ campaign
reflects Arlington’s can-do spirit, which has been demonstrated
many times over with big initiatives throughout our history. The campaign
will feature a series of ads that showcase Arlington as a place where
dreams, innovation and big ideas become a reality. #WeCanWeDo
The Arlington distribution center has
capacity to load 73 trucks at once.
It is also equipped with sorting
technology new to FedEx.
