INSPIRATION
... then, the idea of inverting scenarios to alert towards realities turned to be more efficient and interesting in public spaces, also to raise awareness in different target groups and in a democratic way
... the main concept was to adapt spaces in order to make them look prepared to minorities – in this case, people with disabilities. A space where information appears in Braille and sign language, where the majority of places (even parking lots) are reserved to people with some mobilty impairment, a place where you can feel disabled because you’re far away from this world and these languages.
....
...in the end, the questions we can pose are:
what is a disability? Have you ever felt disabled?
... plus: the information shared should be based in official sources, relevant data, official statistics, in a scentific (sociological, medical and economical) line
... one of the priorities is to raise awareness in a personalized way. Make people reflect and put them in the position of the issued topic/person can bring them closer to the problematic itself
... inverting the regular order of daily life it's one of the many ways to make people reach the central message without making them search for information about the topic.
