Job Summary

The Tribal Member Benefits Enrollment Records Summer Intern will assist the Tribal Member Benefits( TMB) Coordinator with the organization, verification, and maintenance of Tribal Citizen enrollment records. This position focuses on supporting Tribal enrollment documentation processes, including record audits, file organization, and data tracking. The intern will work with both electronic and paper records and gain hands-on experience in Tribal governance and records management.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the 2026 Enrollment Audit by reviewing enrollment files and confirming required documentation is present
• Support updates and maintenance of electronic and paper enrollment records
• Help organize Tribal Citizen membership records, including Tribal rolls, roll years, roll numbers, and descendant notes
• Review enrollment documentation to confirm compliance with enrollment and RAP guidelines
• Maintain and update the 2026 Audit tracking spreadsheet
• Assist with general file organization and records management tasks
• Follow all Tribal data handling and privacy protocols

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and electronic filing systems
• Ability to follow written procedures and maintain accurate records
• Dependable, punctual, and capable of working independently with supervision
• Strong communication skills and willingness to seek clarification when needed

Learning Outcomes
