CHECKING IN
WITH THE ITs
IELTS PREPARATION WORKSHOPS

This semester, I have been attending the ongoing IELTS Preparation Workshops
taught by Tem. In this course, all the papers of the IELTS examination were covered.
I find the workshops very useful, since I have had more chances to train my English
skills, find out my weakness in English and learnt more about the IELTS format.
For example, in two of the workshops, Tem talked about speaking skills. The
workshops were great because I had opportunities to practise speaking on different
topics with my classmates, as a result also training my oral presentation skills. I got
feedback from them so that I knew in which areas I should improve. At the end of
the workshops, Tem also gave us some suggestions on how to improve our English
speaking skills in daily life.
Overall, the IELTS workshops are meaningful and worth going to!
