III . I EU eyes towards Germany
The European Union is going through the most serious period of its existence . Great Britain ' s exit
from the EU that has rocked this body and has enabled its peripheral countries , corrupt leaders of those countries do not hear enough voices in Brussels . Often , countries like Hungary have acted in contradiction with EU policies , as is the case of building walls to prevent the passage of refugees across their territory . Countries such as Hungary , Romania and Bulgaria are directly under Russian threat , that the policy that the leaders of these countries follow goes in favor of Russia . It should be noted that just as vulnerable are its Baltic countries and Poland .
In these circumstances the EU is failing to fulfill its mission , as a model to be followed . It has lost its power of attraction for the Balkan countries by issuing country other influential currents coming from outside and you easily manipulate the already corrupt governments . The power of EU influence is waning in the Balkan and the responsibility of Brussels bureaucrats .
Seeing that the EU is not reaching its influence on the Balkan and on a losing ground , they launched a kind of platform from the initiation of Germany , supported by France , Austria and Italy and some other countries of the Union , to keep alive the integration process of Western Balkan countries . " Berlin Process " aims numerous investments for development projects which lie in nearly all the countries of this part of the Balkan . And through this process is supposed to replace " EU " and thus achieve two objectives : to maintain stability and preparation for integration with quickly in the EU and on the other hand not allowing the growth impact of any other power , as Russia in Balkan .
Finally , the Balkan appear in a delicate geo-strategic position and this position makes as important and just as unstable and threatening . Therefore , the EU should as soon re-configure itself being able to go forword with its policy in Balkan . To achieve this it is necessary a partnership with the US , as we are dealing with security . Europe without the Balkan is within her unfulfilled and always under threat . Balkan even now has a high degree of volatility and a strong competitive election that has politicians for not-so-European spirit . And that for " re-birth " of their own responsibility the EU has . US and EU as two dominating factors in the region , to ensure long-term stability and development should definitely engage more in political decriminalization and democratization of the social scene .
