Natalia ́s Menu: Breakfast: 1 cup of melon with cottage cheese. (300 calories Approx.) Lunch: Cup of rice and vegetables. A piece of meat (600-700 calories Approx.) Snack: Apple and a granola bar (125 calories Approx.) Dinner: cereal with half banana (375 calories Approx.) During this activity we learned how to create a menu based on the calories we need. Also we noticed that it ́s not good to have a menu with lot ́s of calories or with a few, because its important to know how to balance it, including all the types of foods in an equal proportion. Try to have a healthy menu that contains the sufficient calories for us to have energy to work. Each of the menu ́s we created is different but at the same time all contain mostly the same amount of calories that a girl of our age should eat. Page 6
