SUMMARY

During this exchange, I believe that I have grown up as a person and as a future teacher. Being in the International class has been a great experience because I have been able to meet people from all over the world. I have learnt to take care of myself while I was experiencing great new experiences. I think that this is an experience that everyone needs to live at least once in their life.

Going abroad might seem a scary thing to do, but sometimes we need to step out from our comfort zone to be able to see what surrounds us and to know you better.

Doing this program has also allowed me to travel to places that I never thought that I would visit. It has helped me to have a bigger picture of Europe. In each country, I have seen different habits, routines and traditions, most of them have surprised me because they were completely different to mine. However, I think that this is a great way to grow up, because you see by yourself, first hand, and the qualities of each country. It is true that at first, you see many differences, but once you go deep down, you can see that all European share many similarities.

In addition, when you are learning the language of a country is when you really start to know the people of that country. It is a way to communicate; it gives you the opportunity to know them.

I have been able to see many similarities in the International class, too. I think that schools need to work on this topic, because the world and the classrooms are divers, therefore, diversity needs to be treated as a positive aspect. I think that this has been the main pillar of this program.

Now, all the members of this exchange have more knowledge and experience, as we were able to visit some schools from the Netherlands and from Brussels.
