Sebaceous Gland:secrete sebum which acts as a waterproofing agent for hair and skin protecting them from becoming dry, brittle or cracked.

Arrector Pili Muscle:  formation of goose bumps.

Hair Follicle: A hair follicle anchors each hair into the skin.

Sweat Gland: produce a watery secretion called sweat that serves to cool the body when it is hot.

Nerve Fiber: The principal function of neurons is to relay information between the periphery and the CNS.

Adipose Cells: store fat that the body can later break down and release as fatty acids for use as energy.

Arteriole: transport blood away from the heart and out to the body's tissues.

Blood Vessels: carry blood throughout the body.

Venule: allows blood to return from the capillary beds to the larger blood vessels called veins.
