INDECOS aims to be responsive and to achieve gender equality and equity within the organization and ensure that all its programmes , intervention activities and research serve the needs and interests of women and men equally . It works to eliminate all forms of discrimination against women and girls . In 2016 , INDECOS created of an organizational policy provides the right direction and guideline to all INDECOS staff in planning , designing , and implementation of projects and activities in a gender sensitive manner . Gender trainings also took place to provide staff member with knowledge about the new policy and to explore and expand their understandings of gender , equality and women ’ s rights .
