Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350.

Wash your sweet potatoes.

Place your sweet potatoes in a large pot and pour enough water in the put to cover the sweet potatoes.

Boil the potatoes for about 40 minutes, or until the are done( when you can stick a fork in these, there done).

Drain the potatoes, and run them under cool water.

Once the potatoes are cool, peel them.

Place the peeled potatoes in a large mixing bowl, and mash them. Also add in the butter.

Along with the potatoes, add in your sugar and spices. Fold in the ingredients.

In a separate bowl, crack open your four eggs, and beat them until they reach a nice creamy texture.

Pour your eggs into the sweet potato mixture, and also pour in your half and half.

Use your handheld mixer, and mix your sweet potato mixture until the texture is smooth.

Use my recipe for my home made pie crust, and pour in the sweet potato filling( this is enough for two pies).

Bake for 50- 60 minutes.

Let the pies cool before serving.
