Rugby. Regional winners at both senior and
intermediate level and National runners up.
Football. Winner of Regional junior girls and runners up
overall. Semi-finalists at National girl’s competition.
Athletics. Champion County, beating Cleveland ACF to
the top slot for the first time in 25 years. Six cadets winning
National honours with Cadet Sgt Nassar (Heaton Manor)
taking a new National record in the long jump
Swimming. Regional winners and a new National record
by Cadet Jessett (Jesmond) in the senior girl’s butterfly.
Hockey. Third place overall in the Regional competition with three cadets selected for the Brigade team. Runners up in
the National competition. Cadet SSgt Hall and Cadet Cpl Gair showed the true spirit of the ACF
by also playing for Wales, who did not have enough players.
