This, however, comes as no surprise to him, as he takes great pride in his town and has wanted to be a teacher since he was in fifth grade. When he got to high school, his experiences confirmed that he wanted to pursue a teaching degree and wanted to teach his favorite subject: history. A happy series of events brought Mr. Tracy back to Enfield to begin his teaching career. He first returned to Fermi as a substitute teacher, but when a long-term social studies position opened, he was pleased to accept it. Before Mr. Tracy knew it, he had the opportunity to work in the town he grew up in with the teachers he admires in a full-time teaching position. on content while at the same time have fun with learning. Her passion for what she teaches was contagious and made Mr. Tracy excited about what he was learning. He strives to impact his own students in the same way. Ms. Burr helped him with strategies as a learner in a subject that he didn’ t particularly like. He admired how she could turn the subject of English into a ( want to do that for his own students for whom history is not their favorite subject by making real world connections between what they are learning and what they are living. receive her education here, but she believes the teachers to be exceptional. Those teachers, in fact, are the reason Miss Suleski entered the profession. Growing up, her teachers at Henry Barnard were huge inspirations for her, and she always knew that she wanted to follow in their footsteps and educate young learners. Three specific teachers stand out in Miss Suleski’ s mind as exceptional role models: Mrs. Fitzpatrick, Mrs. Dippel, and Mrs. Reith.
