lex Tracy graduated from Enrico Fermi High School in 2009 and
is now back at Fermi as a social
studies teacher. This, however,
comes as no surprise to him, as he
takes great pride in his town and
has wanted to be a teacher since he
was in fifth grade. When he got to
high school, his experiences confirmed that he wanted to pursue a
teaching degree and wanted to
teach his favorite subject: history.
A happy series of events brought
Mr. Tracy back to Enfield to begin
his teaching career. He first returned to Fermi as a substitute
teacher, but when a long-term social studies position opened, he
was pleased to accept it. Before
Mr. Tracy knew it, he had the opportunity to work in the town he
grew up in with the teachers he
admires in a full-time teaching position.
