video? How’ve things been with the new record over the last few weeks? It’s going really good. We’ll find out again later today how sales are going and all of that, but apparently it’s doing quite well. People seem to want to hear it! People are really taken with it when they talk about it on social media. I got a chance to listen to it over the last few days, and something that stuck out was how it sounds so alive, a little like you’re in the room while you’re recording it. That’s the way we record, we all get together in the same room like they used to do. We’re bleeding into each other’s tracks, so we can’t really do much in the way of overdubs — but we like that. We like that it makes us pay attention and get it right. INSIGHT And you all know what you’re doing. Your backgrounds as session musicians, probably between the 10 of you you’ve got more than 200 years of experience as musicians. But it seems like y’all really do Time Jumpers stuff as a way to relax more than anything. Is that how you view the band? Absolutely. That’s why we started, is because we all have spent so many years playing on other people’s projects and trying our very best to give them what they want. Sometimes that’s a lot of fun, and sometimes it’s not all that rewarding, depending on the project. We started this band to feed our own souls and play music we wanted to play, and the way we wanted to play it, and not really care if anybody is overplaying.
