INSIGHT’S HALLOWEEN INTERACTIVE FICTION:
ATTACK OF THE MAD RODENT
By Benjamin Nunnally
You are in your dining room, surrounded
by the bloody corpses of your family and
a small, white gerbil. Your spouse, son and
daughter have all been slaughtered by the
gerbil. You are not sure where it came from.
It is very cute.
from the gerbil, which sits on the table in a
pool of blood.
Fortunately, you are well-versed in
demonology and are acutely sensitive to
psychic vibrations. Where your family fell to
the gerbil's orgiastic lust for violence, you
have the tools to survive. You stand on the
opposite side of your dining room table
If you attempt to reason with the gerbil,
turn to page 12.
INSIGHT
The gerbil rests on its haunches and stares
at you with eyes as deep and black as the
cosmos.
If you choose to keep still because you think
that maybe his visual acuity is based on
movement like T-Rex, turn to page 35.
