where local businesses will hand out goodies.
When: Oct. 25, trick or treat at 4 p.m., with a
presentation of the movie “Casper” in the park
at 7 p.m.

Buckhorn Haunted
Hayride
Take a hayride trip through Buckhorn and help
raise money for the community’s park.
When: Oct. 18 and Oct. 25 from 7-10 p.m. both
evenings.

Virtual Tour of Edgemont
Cemetery
The Anniston Library takes visitors on a tour of
Edgemont, visiting the graves and discussing
the lives of great Anniston citizens throughout
the years.

Underwater Pumpkin
Carving Contest
Grab your scuba gear and take a pumpkin
beneath the surface of Dive Land Park’s lake,
with prizes for best pumpkins. Not a diver?
Bring a pumpkin and carve on land.
When: Oct. 18 at 9 a.m.
Where: Dive Land Park, 401 Websters Chapel
Rd. in Glencoe
Admission: $5 to enter the contest, plus
standard dive fees.

The Right Place
Halloween Carnival
Get together with other grown-ups at The
Peerless, where The Right Place will hold
a dinner buffet, cash bar, costume contest
and other activities to raise money for their
homelessness relief efforts.
When: Oct. 17 from 7-11 p.m.
