1000 West 18th Street, Anniston. Featuring the A
Cappella Choir, Calhoun County Civic Chorale and
Festival Orchestra. Guest artists include: Roderick George and Judy Holt Shealy. Patricia Corbin,
Director. $8 General Admission, $5 Youth/Chil-
dren age 16 and under and $4 for JSU student with
ID. A canned food drive to benefit the St. Michael’s
Food Ministry will be held at this concert. Please

Silver Lakes Golf
The Gamecock Sports Hall of Fame Golf Outing
will be held at Silver Lakes Golf Course located
between Gadsden/Anniston on Novemeber 22,
2013. The Golf Outing is our way of bringing
people together who have made an impact on the
Jacksonville State University Athletic Program.
This tournament is designed for players of all
ability levels. If you can beat Rusty Fuller’s score
of “115” then you are welcome. Mulligans will
be sold for $20 (2). Remember this is a peaceful
gathering in which fun and fellowship are our top

Percy Sledge is an internationally renowned artist
whose career dates back to 1966 with the release of his most famous recording, “When a Man
Loves a Woman.” During the ensuing years, he was
a very sought-after artist who became as popular
internationally as in the United States. His popularity was revived once again for a new generation
of listeners when in 1987, “When a Man Loves
a Woman” was selected by Oliver Stone for the
soundtrack of the Academy Award winning film
“Platoon.” Today, he continues to take concert-goers down memory lane as he enjoys a full concert
