It only takes 23 seconds of Collin Searcy’s video for “Home” to see three years of personal demons come to a head; just under half a minute to get the narrative, seeing the 24-year-old rapper stare down home movies with wet eyes, cast in a blue glow from VHS memories. Two boys hug on screen and a voice speaks the word “brother,” and it’s clear someone was lost along the way.
