out for a long time, and my loyalties lie in the family we have with the people that’ve been with us a while. I guess I’m not beholden to Time-Warner but I’m beholden to a larger machine. It is still far more intimate than it was, I was at the end of the gilded chain there for a while. Fortunately so, I don’t want to sound ungrateful. We really did, I think we were the last class of the big music business, we rode the last wave of when record sales were regularly five to ten million records, and that was astonishing to be part of that music business. Even though we never had that kind of sales, the song itself goes and goes and goes in a way that I would never have dreamed. The success we had during the period of time when we released it seems minimal compared to the marathon that song has run during the following, however many, almost 17 year ̸
