The Piedmont Road Race is a challenging
40 mile loop. The route will guide riders
through the beautiful Talladega National
Forest showing off the scenic landscapes
of Northeast Alabama.
Due to popularity of the Piedmont Road
Race, there are new categories -including
juniors- and bigger purses for the event
this year. The professional mens (81 miles)
and womens (40 miles) races have a
payout of up to $1,000 each.

All Piedmont Road Race events have a
new start and finish on Main Street in
Piedmont, Ala. for junior and elite cyclists.
Start times begin at 9:00 am on Sunday,
April 14.
With a total ascent of 2.348 ft. and a
maximum elevation of 1,203 ft. this race
promises to test the riders who accept the
challenge.
