Bring the family and watch the races first hand or track the action via the online live stream from 12:00 to 9:00 pm. Professional cycling commentator and sports producer Brad Sohner will provide action packed racing commentary during the nine hour live stream, while Steve Cullen plays host to the racers and spectators of the criterium and Noble Street Festival as stage announcer. The action continues all afternoon building up to the Women’s and Men’s Pro races, starting at 6:20 and 7:30 pm, respectively. Those races are for grand prizes of $12,500 each. Race entry fees are donated to Calhoun County Relay for Life, a local American Cancer Society fundraiser. More than $120,000 has been donated since 2005. The 2019 goal is $10,000. RACE SCHEDULE “The live streaming element is an excellent way to showcase to the world the quality of racers who travel to our area to compete,” said Linda Hearn, manager of the Calhoun County Area Chamber and Visitors Center. “As an event sponsor, we feel like our area is presented in a positive fashion and conveys to those from outside Calhoun County that we are a cycling destination for not only professional athletes but amateurs as well.” WATCH LIVE INSIGHT April 2019 15
