Missions Conference – “The Greatest Call”
“The Harvest is plentiful….”
The Missions Conference has been an effective event, bringing awareness to students about the needs
of society and has helped give a clearer vision about their call for ministry. The community will invite
resource personnel from leading mission organizations to come and share their ministry experiences,
which greatly inspire the students.
The 3-day conference was held from 22nd to 24th January, which highlighted our very own Alumni
Rev. John. C. Sathyamoorthy. He shared an interesting testimony about his relentless pursuit in planting
churches at the Indo-Bhutan border. More other honorable guests of CGLD shared several other
meaningful messages. Rev. Rajnish Jacob, Superintendent of Rajasthan district of AG emphasized that
the Church is the hope for the nation. Rev. Daniel Koti, Presbyter of North Karnataka also asserted on
the importance that house churches can bring about a profound impact. Rev. Timothy John, Founder of
Mysore Hope Centre, shared a very insightful message on the importance of how compassion is the most
significant core value
for missions.
