The excellent quality of facilities, service and approach makes our role of promoting the South East so much easier and is one of the main reasons why we are one of the most popular UK tourist regions outside of London.”   South Lodge, an Exclusive Hotel in Horsham, West Sussex is nestled in the heart of the dramatic South Downs National Park and boasts 93 acres of stunning woodland and parkland. South Lodge was the second property to be purchased by the Pecorelli family in 1985, and is part of the Exclusive Hotels and Venue group, which now comprises six hotels and venues in the South East. Danny Pecorelli, managing director of Exclusive Hotels and Venues added; “We are absolutely delighted to have won this award – it is a testament to the dedication of the entire team at South Lodge, who have worked extremely hard to deliver and uphold the high standards expected of a 5-star hotel, a truly commendable achievement.” HAYWARDS HEATH SALON CELEBRATES DOUBLE AWARD WIN The Urban Sanctuary salon in Haywards Heath celebrated its fourth anniversary last month by winning both the Salon of the Year Award and the Readers’ Choice Award at the recent Sussex Hair and Beauty Awards. The Salon of the Year Award recognised the Urban Sanctuary as a business which demonstrated the importance of continued client growth, retention and innovation, and high client satisfaction. The salon also triumphed over the other 13 category winners to be recognised as the Readers’ Choice. The judges said: "Through dedication and hard work, this business has expanded from one small beauty room to a beautiful urban retreat. Any salon will tell you that it is hard to keep all staff busy at all times, but this is something that this salon has successfully achieved. The salon’s dedicated and loyal client following keep its therapists busy all year round, so this is a clear indication of the salon’s growth, which we are confident will allow them to achieve their dream of a second salon. " Salon founder, Gemma Phelan, added: “My team members have dedicated themselves to making the salon the very best it can be and continue to go above and beyond for clients to receive the absolute best in treatments, relaxation and pampering. I couldn’t be 12 prouder of what we have created together – and these awards are a fantastic recognition of all the hard work and passion behind the business.”
