HAYWARDS HEATH SALON CELEBRATES DOUBLE AWARD WIN
The Urban Sanctuary salon in Haywards Heath
celebrated its fourth anniversary last month
by winning both the Salon of the Year Award
and the Readers’ Choice Award at the recent
Sussex Hair and Beauty Awards.
The Salon of the Year Award recognised
the Urban Sanctuary as a business which
demonstrated the importance of continued
client growth, retention and innovation,
and high client satisfaction. The salon also
triumphed over the other 13 category winners
to be recognised as the Readers’ Choice.
The judges said: "Through dedication and hard
work, this business has expanded from one
small beauty room to a beautiful urban retreat.
Any salon will tell you that it is hard to keep all
staff busy at all times, but this is something
that this salon has successfully achieved. The
salon’s dedicated and loyal client following
keep its therapists busy all year round, so
this is a clear indication of the salon’s growth,
which we are confident will allow them to
achieve their dream of a second salon. "
Salon founder, Gemma Phelan, added: “My
team members have dedicated themselves to
making the salon the very best it can be and
continue to go above and beyond for clients
to receive the absolute best in treatments,
relaxation and pampering. I couldn’t be
12
prouder of what we have created together –
and these awards are a fantastic recognition
of all the hard work and passion behind the
business.”
