Escape from the everyday to a historic Kentish
retreat.
History, character and distinctive food and drink
combine to make the New Flying Horse one of
the most delightful pubs in Wye and the location
is simply ideal for exploring the cathedral city of
Canterbury, walking on the Downs or enjoying a

Once you’ve sampled our delicious brasserie
classics, great Sunday roasts, freshly brewed coffee
and authentic Kentish ales, you simply won’t want
to leave.
Here at the New Flying Horse we offer brasseriestyle dining, or you can settle down for a real feast

crafted from fresh seasonal produce, including
locally caught fish specials from the Kent coast. You
can also enjoy al fresco dining in our award-winning

Our chef’s specials change on a daily basis,
depending on what is available – meaning that
whenever you’re out for a meal in Wye, you’ll always
find something new with us! On top of all that, our

The Sun Inn
With a tale to tell that dates back to the 14th
century, The Sun Inn, Faversham, oozes history,
charm and character.
Our pub, in Faversham’s conservation area, is
brimming with intriguing original features – such
as inglenook fireplaces, oak beams and a lovely
courtyard garden. Little wonder that we are one of
the most popular pubs in Faversham to drink, eat
and even stay.
Just a short stroll from the Shepherd Neame
brewery, we naturally serve distinctive Kentish cask
ales in peak condition. We are also more than just
a haven for real ale aficionados though, whether
you’re after breakfast, lunch or dinner, we offer
a selection of delicious dishes with ingredients
sourced from local suppliers. Try some of our
favourites such as home cooked steak, red wine &
smoked bacon pie or fillet of local cod in Whitstable
Bay batter, or sample one of our chef’s own
seasonal dishes such as kiev of guinea fowl.
When you’re looking for places to eat in Faversham,
head for the Sun Inn. Whatever you choose, savour
your food and drink amid the special atmosphere of
one of Faversham’s oldest pubs.
