In the winter roaring fires welcome you and in the summer our outside dining and seating area provide alfresco drinking and dining. Under new management, the pub and restaurant is fast becoming a destination for family groups, ramblers and those just wanting a relaxed atmosphere with a warm welcome and good quality food and drink. We are able to cater for formal occasions such as weddings and wakes and also provide full outside catering facilities. We pride ourselves in sourcing our produce through local growers and businesses and regularly change our menu to offer seasonal variations on classic themes. Whether you want a light lunchtime snack or our full dining experience, you will find fresh cooked ingredients prepared and presented to order. Relaxed jazz and acoustic music is a regular Sunday experience at the Red Lion along with our home cooked Sunday roasts. Sets normally start late afternoon, enabling diners to relax after their meal and maybe enjoy one of our cheese platters and a glass of port to top the day off! The first Thursday of every month has a gourmet meal experience, offering a different theme each month. These evenings are relaxed and very popular and pre booking is advised.
