Brasserie on the Bay Prince’s Drive Sandwich Bay CT13 9QB 01304 611118 princesgolfclub.co.uk The Brasserie on the Bay is a 2 AA Rosette restaurant situated in Sandwich Bay at the Lodge at Prince’s. Even before you walk through the door you will be spoilt by the stunning views along Sandwich Bay and across to Ramsgate. Upon passing through the doors to the Lodge, a genuinely warm welcome awaits you. The Brasserie on the Bay’s head chef, Ricky Smith, prides himself on featuring locally sourced, high quality produce in his creative and appealing menus which change seasonally. Fish is always at the forefront of chef’s menus, and a speciality is his confit of wild sea trout with summer peas and baby beets. Diners will enjoy the contemporary feel of the Lodge at Prince’s in the cosiest seat in front of the log burner fire as they anticipate the wonderful menu whilst savouring chef’s selection of canapés. Or why not indulge in a post-dinner coffee? During the summer months guests can sit on the sunny terrace for early evening drinks watching the sun set over the golf course. Guests can also stay overnight in one of the 38 ensuite bedrooms at the Lodge (with sea or golf course views) and take the opportunity to relax over a Kentish breakfast (featuring sausages and bacon from the local Preston Butchers) before a stroll along the beach. The Brasserie on the Bay also offers afternoon tea. Tea consists of a beautiful selection of sandwiches, scones, cakes and pastries all served with a choice of teas and coffees. There is also the option of having a ‘Sparkling Afternoon Tea’ with Westwell Sparkling Wine, a wonderful Kentish product. The Brasserie on the Bay is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. Reservations are recommended. 22 insideKENT restaurant guide 2016 reservations@ princesgolfclub.co.uk @Brasserieonthe /princesgolfclub
