The Empire Room Restaurant The Empire Room restaurant, part of the Royal Harbour Hotel, serves classic local British dishes in a charming club like setting. Decorated in a distinct heritage red with a real fire, it evokes a private club atmosphere. It is elegant and stylish, yet relaxing and informal. With its 30 covers it is also ideal for a private dinner party or a special celebration. Our Head Chef Wendy Smith believes in using local, seasonal, and organic produce wherever possible and keeping the menu fresh and new by changing it weekly. All our food is produced in the kitchen and is cooked and prepared to order. Enjoy a pre-dinner drink in the Ward Room Bar whilst having to choose from starters such as Local White Crab and Saffron Dumplings or Chestnut and Porcini Mushroom Soup, followed by Roasted Monkshill Farm Pork Belly or Smoked Applewood Twice Baked Souffle, topped off with a choice of wonderful desserts like Warm Chocolate Pot served with Malt Ice Cream or Earl Grey Bread and Butter Pudding.
