Opening their doors on the 6th December 2013 was an exciting
time for Anil Kumar who is the proprietor and head chef. If you
are looking for Traditional Indian Food then you need look no
further than Flavours by Kumar. With delicate flavours that
have been put together with love and care, the dishes that
come out of the kitchen are a true delight.

Here is how the journey began:

In 1996 Anil joined the hotel management, catering technology
in Hydrebad, India and in 1997 worked in the welcome group
Rajiputana Palace Sheraton Jaipur, India. From there Anil began
working as the banquet chef, Taj Gateway Hotel Bangalore. TAJ
Group of Hotels, India from 1999 – 2003.

From 2003 - 2004 Anil worked at the Royal Mirage Hotel in
Dubai, moving in 2004 -2005 to the Hotel Intercontinental
Amman, Jordan. Anil's journey from 2005 - 2006 sees Anil move
to London and work at the Cumin Restaurant in Finchley Road,
moving to The Cinnamon Club, Westminster in London from
2006 - 2007. Then in 2007 - 2009 Anil as head chef joins The
Indian Princess in Margate. In 2009 - 2013 Anil is head chef at
The Ambrette in Margate.

2013 - present, Anil becomes the proud owner/head chef of
Flavours by Kumar.
Anil’s aim is to convey his passion for Indian cuisine in a way
which gives you a taste of perfect Indian dishes; bringing
exquisite Indian food to the town of Ramsgate. And you can
enjoy a set Lunchtime menu 2 courses £7.95 and 3 courses
£9.95.

Monday – Sunday 12pm – 2.30pm and 5.30pm – 10.30pm.
