Made IN KENT cont. Biddenden Vineyards Chilli Jam Factory Biddenden Brasted Biddenden has 23 acres of vineyards and grows 11 different varieties of grapes, enabling it to produce excellent white, rose, and sparkling wines, as well as traditional Kentish ciders and farm pressed apple and pear juices. This is Kent’s oldest commercial vineyard, and it has been producing excellent wines since 1969. In all that time, the Kent countryside has been the ideal place for these vines to grow. www.biddendenvineyards.com When Jane Jones made her first jar of chilli jam back in 2011, she had no idea that over the next four years she would end up making thousands of them – and selling them. What began as a simple case of curiosity turned into a successful small business, which is now run from her kitchen in Brasted, near Sevenoaks, although she hopes to soon be able to open a shop to see her wares. There are now seven different chilli jam varieties as well as a range of chutneys and oils. You can even discuss wedding favours with a kick if you are looking for something different on your big day! www.chillijamfactory.co.uk Breakfast, lunch, including our grab and go range, salad bar, soup station, popular hot bistro menu and speciality hot drinks with homemade cake, all using local and seasonal produce.
