WINS SILVER AT FOOD TALK AWARDS
Artisan
confectionery
brand Goupie
has won a
silver award for
their newest
flavour, Salted
Sticky Toffee,
in the Free-
From category
at the Food
Talk Awards.
“The reaction
to our Goupie
Mini launch
this year, in particular to our brand new Salted Sticky Toffee flavour,
has been phenomenal,” comments Grace Simpson, brand manager.
“There is no doubt that salted confectionery still has a huge pull on
the consumer, and the fact that it’s also gluten-free, dairy-free and
vegan friendly is just the icing on the cake.”
The Free-From Pioneer Award was looking for ‘a food or drink
product from where traditional allergens or ingredients have been
removed, but you’d never know it’.
“We are delighted to have won Silver in this category,” states co-
founder, Janet Simpson. “We have always kept Goupie all about
the taste, and so acknowledgment of this in a free-from category
is really important to us.” www.goupie.co.uk
