Bluewater’s famous Winter Wonderland has returned, with a host of thrilling
activities, including a 6,000 square foot real indoor Ice Rink, a fantastic 40metre Snow Slide and a Christmas 4D Cinema. Bluewater’s Winter
Wonderland will also offer families the magic of Christmas with stacks of
indoor traditional rides, amusements, games and more.

Once a year the railway opens its doors to railway and photography
enthusiasts alike. The New Year Drive and Photography Event allows a
maximum of 6 people to enjoy this unique day out. This special experience
includes the opportunity to drive one of the railway’s world famous steam
locomotives under the instruction of a professional Romney driver, stopping
on route at picturesque locations to capture the moment with a photograph
or two so be sure to bring the camera. The day’s itinerary also includes
pauses for food at the Heywood Buffet (New Romney) and the Light Railway
Restaurant (Hythe).

The Greatest Megaflood Ever // 2 Jan – 29 Feb
The Beaney is working in partnership with the award-winning Homeless
Film Festival to bring diverse and high-end short films into the Front Room
gallery during the Cardboard Canterbury exhibition. The Homeless Film
Festival was founded in 2011 and is the only festival in the world that uses
the film industry as a way of highlighting and tackling homeless issues. The
UK has a huge and growing problem with homelessness plus an additional
81,000 households are now at risk of becoming homeless this year. The
Homeless Film Festival aims to highlight these issues, and more.
