KENT COUNTY SHOW Kent Showground, Maidstone 3- 5 Jul
The Kent County Show is Kent’ s showcase event for all things farming, agriculture and countryside life. Set to be a jam-packed weekend of showcase events, from livestock showing and equine competitions to unrivalled entertainment such as the Lamb National Sheep Race and giant Aldabra tortoises, the show has a number of retail stands and food vendors too, all set on the stunning grounds of Kent Showground.

Set in the rolling hills of the North Downs in the quaint village of Hollingbourne, Penn Oast Vineyard invites locals and visitors to visit their family-run eight-acre vineyard, with a selection of open days running throughout the calendar year. Each one will offer a chance to taste the vineyard’ s delicious sparkling and still wine alongside a selection of food vendors including Joe’ s Dough who are back again providing delicious pizza.

LEEDS CASTLE CONCERT Leeds Castle, Maidstone
Heralding its final curtain call, the Leeds Castle Concert 2026 promises a fitting celebratory finale as The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Dr John Rigby, strike up one last time. Joined by outstanding soloists and special performances reflecting the past 48 years of the much-loved concert, as the music rises, the castle itself will be illuminated in a spectacular light display.
