FESTIVAL THEATRE AT HEVER CASTLE

As spring arrives in Kent, The Festival Theatre at Hever Castle reopens its doors for another enchanting season of openair performance from the beginning of May. Set within the castle’ s breathtaking grounds, this much-loved venue offers audiences the chance to experience theatre, music and family entertainment in a truly atmospheric setting.

May’ s programme opens with a lively start over the early Bank Holiday weekend with the feel-good energy of Abba Inferno( 2 May) and the sharp wit of General Medical Emergency: Ward 10( 3 May). As the month unfolds, audiences can enjoy a rich mix of theatrical performances, including Alan Ayckbourn’ s much-loved comedy Relatively Speaking( 23-24 May) and Shakespeare’ s timeless Romeo & Juliet( 27-28 May), performed by The Duke’ s Theatre Company.

Motown & More( 29 May) bringing the unmistakable sounds of soul legends to the stage in a vibrant live concert experience. Comedy takes centre stage with Mark Steel’ s The Leopard in My House( 30 May), offering an evening of sharp, insightful humour.
Families are not forgotten, with the delightful Flyaway Katie( 31 May), a colourful and imaginative puppet show designed to captivate younger audiences.
