BRANDS HATCH 1926-2026:
CELEBRATING A CENTURY OF POWER
Kent’ s legendary Brands Hatch circuit is set for a season to remember in 2026, as it marks its 100th anniversary with a special Century of Power programme. Commemorative activities are planned across the calendar, including special demonstrations, displays and guest appearances at selected events.
A key part of the schedule will be the circuit’ s best ever lineup of cornerstone historic race meetings. This includes the traditional Masters Historic Festival on 30- 31 May, which will act as a major celebration of the circuit’ s F1 heritage. The all-new London Historic Trophy on 19-21 June, meanwhile, will take the lead on looking back at the venue’ s past as the host of major international sports car racing.
Other throwbacks include the new look Touring Car Rewind event on 1-2 August, at which the Classic Touring Car Racing Club will shine a light on tin top tradition. The Historic Sports Car Club will also retain its summer date on 11-12 July.
So much of Brands Hatch’ s past is steeped in motorcycle racing history and that’ s why two events in particular have been earmarked to reflect this. The height of summer British Superbike Championship round on 17-19 July will act as the headline two-wheeled celebration, but the Classic Racing Motorcycle Club fixture on 4-5 July will also adopt a‘ 100 years’ theme.
Another highlight of Brands Hatch’ s centenary year will be crowning all the UK’ s major national circuit racing champions. The British GT Championship kicks off a run of late-season series finales on 26-27 September, before the British Touring Car Champion receives their prize on 10-11 October. The British Superbike Championship will then decide its own fate a week later.
The British Truck Racing Championship will come to a close at the West Kingsdown circuit too as part of the Trucks and Fireworks spectacular, which is due to end the major event calendar with a bang on 1 November.
The circuit team thought long and hard heading into 2026 about how best to mark this special anniversary. With so much
motorsport history to look back on, it was quickly agreed that there was far too much to simply host one single centenary event. That’ s why the entire 2026 campaign will be tailored to suit the Century of Power theme. Beyond the physical race events, the milestone will also be examined in special race event programme features, as well as across the circuit’ s website and social media presence.
Tickets for many of the main events at the circuit this year are on sale now, with reductions available on entry to anybody who books in advance. Further savings are offered to teens aged 13-15, with all children under 13 attending for free, ensuring great value for the next generation of Brands Hatch visitors.
Alternatively, Brands Hatch Centenary Season Passes are available, guaranteeing access all year long, with a special souvenir design. For more information about the circuit and upcoming events, please visit the website and social media pages.
