WEST END HOUSE GALLERY

Set in the heart of beautiful, historic Smarden, West End House is a contemporary gallery showing original artworks including paintings, prints, ceramics and sculpture.
The gallery holds two to three themed exhibitions a year and at all other times has an eclectic mixed display showcasing work by gallery artists and makers. The space is warm and friendly with inspiring work to suit every budget. Everyone is welcome and the gallery is fully accessible to people with disabilities, including wheelchair users.
Run since 2011 by Karen Papworth and Patricia Hawkins, 14 years on they are still passionate about what they do and still share the delight of selling artwork on behalf of their wonderful artists to their equally wonderful customers.
Every year since 2016, West End House has exhibited at The Affordable Art Fair in London. This prestigious event takes place in Battersea Park and they are extremely proud to be one of 110 national and international galleries taking part. It is exciting and exhausting in equal measure!
The gallery is also part of Own Art. This is an Arts Council England funded scheme, which is designed to make it easy and affordable for anyone and everyone to buy contemporary art. By signing up to purchase a piece priced between £ 100 to £ 2,500, you can split the payment evenly over 10 months interest free, while being able to take the work away on the same day.
