As our Garden of England blossoms and brightens, we are looking ahead to the joys that Easter brings. Falling this year between 18 and 21 April, the long Easter weekend, while an excellent time to feast on all the chocolatey treats on offer, is the perfect occasion to enjoy the upcoming themed events both adults and children can delight in.

From seasonal crafts and garden adventures to celebrations of Kent’ s wonderful producers and heritage, make this Easter one to cherish by spending it in the surroundings of our thriving county. Looking for some inspiration? Here’ s our top Easter weekend picks for 2025.
Offering glorious surroundings in which to marvel at spring’ s blooms, Godinton House & Gardens( godintonhouse. co. uk) nestled outside of Ashford’ s bustling town centre, is inviting keen explorers to search for tracks and learn all about the wild animals that live on the beautiful Godinton Estate this Easter. Pick up a special trail sheet from the ticket office before setting off on your adventure, returning once all tracks have been discovered to win a prize! Running from 5- 21 April, and promising a thrilling historical adventure to remember, Leeds Castle( leeds-castle. com) is calling out for brave explorers to join the Knights of Leeds Castle on an urgent mission to retrieve the‘ Golden Shield’. Setting off throughout the grounds with a new knightly persona, families will strive to complete the quest in order to collect a Leeds Castle shiny gold coin. Those who manage to unearth the mighty Golden Shield will also earn themselves the title of being an official Leeds Castle Knight- the challenge awaits!
