Wow , what an adventure ! Shrek ’ s Adventure ! London is right on the south bank of the River Thames near Waterloo and Westminster , so everyone can see some of London ’ s most famous sights - it really does have something for everyone !
From the entrance of Shrek ’ s Adventure ! London , you can see some of London ’ s most famous buildings including Big Ben , the Houses of Parliament , Westminster Bridge and the London Eye . As you walk into the adventure , you are met by very friendly and happy people in character , who set you up for the experience you ’ re about to go on . From here , you start your adventure and can take pictures with some of your favourite characters .

Once you ‘ board the bus ’ though , no cameras are allowed ! From here , the real fun begins . An amazing experience that makes you feel like you ’ re in the film Shrek , the adventure sends you through different scenes from the film , so children from the group can look around the scene and help to solve all of the clues to get you back to the bus . We don ’ t want to ruin any surprises , but adults can also join in the fun , too !
You don ’ t even need to know anything about the film to experience the fun , which was a big bonus for us ! Throughout the adventure , we had fun and remembered all of the clues , making the end of the game something we were all involved in . Once you ’ ve finished the adventure , you are able to meet other characters from different films and have pictures taken , which we really enjoyed , especially Kung Fu Panda ! We would highly recommend Shrek ’ s Adventure ! London , and with it being so close to Kent - with a weekend £ 1 rail fare for children and tickets available via Cadbury ’ s Family Fun Days - Shrek ’ s Adventure ! London is a must !

In collaboration with Belmont House and Gardens , Wild Classroom are hosting special kitchen garden workshops throughout the year , the first of which takes place during the upcoming Easter holidays . On 16 April , families will be able to cook over fire during this half-day workshop using only the freshest produce straight from the Belmont kitchen garden . After meeting Belmont ’ s gardening team and collecting their ingredients , families will prepare a range of seasonal dishes in the outdoor cooking area and - best of all - fill their bellies with them !
