ELEVATING VOICES :

MARK DE-LISSER ’ S RETURN TO ST . EDMUND ’ S FESTIVAL

As the St . Edmund ’ s Festival approaches , anticipation builds for an event that promises to be a singing spectacle . At the heart of this year ’ s festival is the eagerly awaited return of Mark De-Lisser , a celebrity in the realm of vocal coaching and choral direction , whose name evokes respect and admiration across the UK music scene and beyond .

Mark De-Lisser ’ s illustrious career is marked by a dedication to nurturing talent and fostering artistic excellence , making him the perfect choice to lead a singing workshop for all ages at the festival . From Grammynominated superstars like Ariana Grande , Jessie J and Beverley Knight to aspiring musicians just beginning their journey , De- Lisser ’ s guidance has left an indelible mark on countless individuals .
What sets this workshop apart is not only the opportunity to learn from a master of the craft , but also the inclusion of special guest David Flood , the esteemed master of choristers for 27 years . Flood ’ s wealth of experience and expertise adds a rich layer of depth to the workshop , providing a unique opportunity for current and former choristers , as well as parents , to come together and share in the joy of music .
The workshop itself promises to be a transformative experience , with De-Lisser and Flood leading participants through a series of engaging exercises and vocal techniques designed to unleash the full potential of their voices . From breath control to harmony blending , participants will have the opportunity to explore and refine their vocal skills under the guidance of two of the industry ’ s most esteemed mentors .
But the culmination of the workshop is perhaps the most exciting part of all - a brilliant performance that showcases the collective talents of all involved . With no experience required , participants of all ages and backgrounds will come together to create a harmonious tapestry of sound , united by their shared love of music and the guidance of two masterful mentors .
As organisers of the St . Edmund ’ s Festival , we are honoured to welcome Mark De- Lisser back to our stage and thrilled to provide a platform for aspiring musicians of all ages to learn , grow and shine .
