Pa ’ s Char Siu Bao With Love

Prep time : 15 minutes Cook time : 30 minutes Serves : 4
Ingredients :
• 8pcs ready-to-eat Gua Bao
For the filling :
• 400g pork belly , sliced
• 50g carrots , julienned
• 50g cucumber , sliced
For the sauce :
• 1 tbsp Lee Kum Kee Premium Oyster Sauce
• 1 tbsp Lee Kum Kee Premium Light Soy Sauce
• 2 tbsp Lee Kum Kee Char Siu Sauce
• 1 tsp Lee Kum Kee Pure Sesame Oil
Method :
1 . Boil the pork belly in a pan of hot water for 5 minutes .
2 . Remove the pork belly and slice it into thin slices .
3 . Mix the sauce ingredients together in a bowl .
4 . Heat a pan and add oil .
5 . Add the pork belly slices in .
6 . Pour the sauce mix into the pan .
7 . When the sauce mix begins to boil , turn the heat down and continue to cook for 15 minutes .
8 . Take the pork belly out and insert into the Gua Bao , along with carrots and cucumber . Ready to serve .
TOP TIP : Use leftover sauce as a glaze for other dishes . Simply pan sear your steak or fish fillet at your next meal and use the excess sauce as a final glaze . www . insidekent . co . uk • 99
